Web Design And Website Promotion Is Mixed Strategy For Next Generation Business

One of the first things that you need to decide, long before you begin your analysis, design and implementation, is who is your audience? With whom are you trying to communicate? You are obviously creating a web site for a reason, and hopefully you intended someone to view it. In fact, you should define your audience before you even get into any details about what the web site is to do - the "to do" will actually be made much more clear once you understand your audience.

In how many different ways does your website communicate to your visitors? The first avenue is content, while the second is the choice of colors you use. The most important part of your site is the home page - that is what your potential customers will see when they first visit the site. The best way to optimize your colors is to use the colors in a 216-color palette. The disadvantage to creating a single site with dozens of different colors is color compatibility between different operating systems, monitors and browsers. If the browser of your visitor cannot show an exact color from your website, it will choose the closest or mix the nearest two colors. The result can be something you did not want or expect.

Some examples:-

Red: Red can be a very powerful motivator when used with proper corresponding words. Red is designed for the daring, persuasive and passionate. It also represents "danger", "stop" or heat.

Blue: Use blue in the beginning or end of your sales pages, many individuals promotes trustworthiness, success, seriousness and calmness. This should help to encourage the trustworthiness of your site.

Green: Money, security and conservative emotions are evoked by the use of green.

Black: Hopelessness and high tech can describe black. Black is lifeless, however, it is the backbone of internet pages. You can use black with any word or phase.

Yellow: Yellow is thought as "Hurry up", "Get it now".

Once you understand how to intertwine colors into your site, your sales should increase. Colors speak their own language and evoke emotions instantly. Always use colors sparingly, yet intelligently, in the creation of your website. Your TITLE tag should clearly represent what your site is about. If you're building a page that talks about your company's products, the title should thoroughly reflect that topic. The adage that "Content is King" applies to all websites. It is also true that when you add sound, animation, and lots of graphics, your web page takes a long time to load, and some of your visitors may not bother to wait for it to load; they'll just go away.

If yours is a website that sells website design services, that is, you want people to pay you to design their website, it is in your interest not to make your site too plain. how you design your site depends on your topic and your target audience. Keep that cardinal rule in mind and you'll be fine. people who believe a good website must have much colour, graphics, animation and sound. Do not put too much text in one big block. Separate them out into paragraph and put white space between paragraphs. This makes your text look more readable.
Reduce the size of the individual graphics files on your pages by using the following methods:

Reduce the size of the image
Reduce the number of colours in the graphics
In animations, reduce the number of frames

There are some points always remember before website design & development:
1. Keep site pages light. Even 30 seconds is an eternity when waiting for a page download. In fact, you'll lose 90% of potential visitors who have to wait for a 30-second download.
2. Keep it fresh. if they've read it once they won't wont to read it again so keep adding new articles of interest to your primary demographic for your ideal buyer.
3. keep navigation consistent throughout the site. If you use a navigation bar at the top of the home page, keep it there on all landing pages so visitors don't have to look for it.
4. Provide a site map. It's easy to get lost on a site that has a couple of hundred pages. A link to a site map helps visitors (and search engine robots), and an omni-present link to the homepage keeps visitors from bailing on your site simply because they took a wrong turn.
5. Make sure content is accurate. There is so much correct or incorrect information on the web. However, your visitors will stick around to read what you say, especially when you back it up with references!
6. Do Your Pages Download Fast? Your web page downloading fast or not because visitors don't wait for access pages.
Flash in parts of their sites to depict moving images and sound as a guided tour or clips of information that make the site more interesting. Web development is quite complex, because there are so many disciplines involved. A very popular reason to create a web presence is ... to have a web presence..

Web promotion like Search Engines and Directories are great to get targeted traffic. Despite of all remarks regarding constant changes of algorithms it's still worth while. Forums , articles, Press releases, and if you want to banners and advertising are all in place here. Select your resources with care by using the information from Step .
